Overview
Todd Ellis
started building homes with his grandfather, Wayne Pope in
1984. His
grandfather taught him to build the old fashioned way, using
only quality materials and workmanship.
Over the next ten years, Todd gained experience in
construction of quality homes, plus the importance of good
supplier and customer relationships.
With this knowledge and great determination, Todd
started his own company,
Todd Ellis
Builders, Inc. in 1994.
His talent led him into developing residential
subdivisions in addition to building custom homes.
Mark Pope started Mark Pope Builders in 1993.
As a licensed, quality builder for more than 18
years, he built custom homes, primarily in southern
Iredell
County
. In 2004 Mark
and Todd formed a partnership to enhance and strengthen
their experience and skills.
Bill brings more than 25 years in commercial and
Multi-family development and management experience to the
team. Bill developed the first condominiums in Iredell
County and has since developed and continues to manage many
medical and professional office projects.
Bill, Todd and Mark recognized how the building
industry was changing and knew they could create a unique
business by combining their experience and knowledge of
commercial and custom home building businesses. As a result
of their vision, Stiles, Ellis and Pope Building Co. was
created in 2005.

Since
its inception SEP has partnered with developers and
architects to develop project budgets and scheduling to
assist in the marketing of new properties. We have on-going
relationships with the architectural and design industry. We
have aligned ourselves with the most qualified subcontractor
businesses in the area that perform at our level of customer
satisfaction. Because of these relationships, we can develop
a budget and accomplish a project quickly, effectively and
efficiently. We have an outstanding reputation in the
